Huanhuan Wu is a Chinese cultural class instructor at the Confucius Institute at Western Michigan. Her hometown, Weihai, is a beautiful seaside city in the east of Shandong Province. She has many hobbies, such as folk songs, Peking opera, paper cutting, calligraphy, and Chinese knots to name a few. During her undergraduate and graduate studies, she pursued the same major: Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other languages, which is her favorite job. She taught Chinese for three years at several different schools including: Tsinghua University, Peking University, Beijing Language and Culture University and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunication. She has a lot of enthusiasm for teaching which truly enriches her life.
